Job Overview: The Director of Global Talent & Engagement is a strategic leadership role at our client's company in Rock Hill, SC. This position is pivotal in driving a cohesive strategy for managing performance, developing, and retaining top talent across the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the Director will focus on Talent Management, Culture and Employee Engagement, and Internal Communications. This role is essential for fostering innovation, engagement, and high performance while building a culture of inclusion and belonging. Key Responsibilities: Talent Management: Design talent management programs to identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees. Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, development planning, and performance reviews. Influence system enhancements to drive performance transparency, accountability, and outcome measures. Lead succession planning initiatives to ensure a strong leadership pipeline. Culture and Employee Engagement: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for employee engagement, experience, and culture. Design and execute engagement programs to enhance motivation, performance, and retention. Drive processes and programs to promote well-being and growth, ensuring a positive employee experience. Collaborate with leaders to foster a culture of inclusivity, positivity, innovation, and high performance. Support organizational change efforts through effective communication and change management plans. Monitor and analyze key metrics related to employee engagement and culture. Internal Communications: Drive a comprehensive internal communications strategy to ensure consistent, transparent communication. Support executive leadership in crafting and delivering key messages aligned with company goals. Collaborate with other departments to align culture, engagement, and communication efforts with broader organizational goals. Manage internal communication plans for crisis situations, maintaining trust and confidence among employees. Strategic Leadership: Lead a high-performing team of HR and communication professionals, providing mentorship and development opportunities. Stay current on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in talent and development strategies. Leverage data analytics to drive decision-making and measure the impact of talent initiatives. Requirements Include: Education: Bachelor's degree or global equivalent practical experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in developing and implementing talent strategies and programs. Experience in leading talent strategies for manufacturing environments is preferred but not required. Skills: Deep understanding of DEI principles, organizational culture, and employee engagement. Proven experience in a global environment with sensitivity to cultural influences. Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams. Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and implementation of new ideas. Superior communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in HR technologies and data analytics. Ability to drive change and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment. Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively within and across departments to achieve organizational goals. Experience managing budgets and resources.
