Role Summary The Director of Employee Operations will play a pivotal role in transforming our HR operations into a scalable shared services model. This leader will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing HR shared services to enhance efficiency, improve employee experience, and support the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with HR technologies, particularly ServiceNow and Workday, and a proven track record in leading best-in-class shared services model. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Spearhead the transition of the People team to a shared services operating model, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy, communicating the vision, benefits, and changes to all stakeholders, and providing training and support throughout the transformation. Lead the transition of People team from a traditional model to a shared services model. Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operations of the People shared services team, driving continuous improvement and ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of shared services and identify areas for optimization. Foster a culture of continuous learning, customer service excellence, and process improvement within the team. Technology Integration: Partner with People Systems leader to integrate and optimization HR technologies, with a focus on ServiceNow and Workday, ensuring effective use to streamline processes and improve data accuracy and accessibility. Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to implement and maintain HR systems. People Management and Team Development: Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of HR professionals within the shared services model, providing coaching, mentoring, and growth opportunities. Promote a collaborative and inclusive team culture, leveraging diverse perspectives and fostering cross-functional partnerships. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence. Change Management: Communicate the vision, benefits, and changes associated with the transformation to all stakeholders. Provide training and support to HR staff and employees during the transition. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure HR shared services comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Identify and mitigate risks associated with HR operations and shared services. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing HR operations, shared services, or large-scale transformations. Proven track record of successfully leading HR transformations and implementing shared services models. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with HR technologies, particularly ServiceNow and Workday, with a strong ability to leverage technology for process optimization.
