Key Responsibilities: Provide daily secretarial support to assigned partners and associates. Prepare legal pleadings and manage litigation files. Navigate state and federal court systems, ensuring compliance with local filing rules. Assemble documents, exhibits, and administrative records for court filings and hearings. Proofread materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to formatting standards. Maintain an organized calendar and deadline reminder system, utilizing the master calendar. Set up and manage client files according to the firm's conflict check procedures. Qualifications: A minimum of ten years of experience as a litigation secretary, preferably supporting litigation defense attorneys. Proven track record of excellent employment tenure. Strong team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Experience managing multiple attorneys' schedules and needs simultaneously. Ideal Candidate: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. Professional demeanor with exceptional writing, proofreading, and technical skills.
