Description This posting is for multiple openings of Mammography Technologist at Swedish First Hill Seattle, WA. Part-time and full-time positions are available. This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting. Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Dependant on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. Required Qualifications: Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience may be required Preferred Qualifications: 2 years Full-time mammography experience Why Join Providence?
