About the job Senior Manager - Finance Role: We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager - Finance for one of our clients. Our client is a NASDAQ-listed leading data analytics and digital operations and solutions company that partners with clients to improve business outcomes and unlock growth. By bringing together deep domain expertise with robust data, powerful analytics, cloud, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), we create agile, scalable solutions and execute complex operations for world-leading corporations in industries including insurance, healthcare, banking and financial services, media, and retail, among others. Responsibilities: This is a managerial role which is based out of Jersey City, NJ, USA leading accounting and finance operations of the Americas (Including Colombia and Mexico) along with undertaking cost-saving and profit maximization strategic initiatives through process improvement, and digital initiatives. Primary activities include: Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial close for Americas, Colombia and Mexico geography through respective tower leads and accounting partners. Closely partnering with HR/Payroll & Benefits team on employee cost on a monthly basis to provide variance explanation including employee benefit cost for US geography. Drive timely preparation/review of LGAAP financials and support information/data requirements for global audits incl. closely working with SEC, Tax, and Legal functions to meet various compliance requirements. Manage stakeholders like EC, OC, and BU Heads around process and policy matters. Point of escalation for various matters not limited to AP, T&E etc Managing relationships with banks, credit card company as administrator to manage payments, queries, credit card issues, program compliance across geographies. Support daily banking needs & ensure the accurate and timely processing of banking transactions working across various team members. Monitoring and enhancing coverage on B2B payment process though corporate purchase card providers. Ensuring Implementation and socializing new projects with stakeholders. Mentor, train and provide work direction to global team members. Collaborates with the other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives like treasury, banking, FP&A, intercompany etc. Leads implementation of company policies and practices across various geos. Supports functional budget and forecasting activities incl, advising other local functional members. Functional support with special projects and workflow process improvements like automation and acquisition integration. Eg. Renaissance, Project Global, Acquisition integration related matters. Experience in payroll operations and accounting is preferred. Qualifications: Knowledge of Americas and Local GAAP, US and Latin America business practices. Closely worked with FP&A & Business Leadership. Analytical and problem-solving mindset. Knowledge of Oracle enterprise and fusion applications. Proficient in basic computing skills including MS office. Prior experience in Project Management & Automation Initiatives is welcome. Self-motivated and a dynamic team player. Ability to work effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel. Strong management, interpersonal, organization, research, technical analysis and written and verbal communications skills. Minimum of a bachelors in accounting, related field or equivalent experience, CPA/CFA preferred. Knowledge of any data analytics tool a plus like Power BI, Alteryx. Preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish.
