Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager í¢â‚¬" MEP Engineering Firm We are actively seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager to join our growing team.í‚ This role is ideal for candidates with strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a passion for electrical engineering.í‚ This position can be seated in in Columbus, OH, Cleveland, OH, and Virginia Beach, VA. Position Overview: The Senior Electrical Engineer/PM will play a key role in leading project teams, managing client relationships, and overseeing the electrical engineering department's operations. The ideal candidate will have a PE license and extensive experience managing complex electrical design projects. Key Responsibilities: Manage projects and client relations, ensuring successful delivery of electrical designs. Lead project proposals as either the primary A/E or sub-consultant. Oversee project contracts, resource management, and invoicing. Conduct electrical system analyses (power, lighting, and fire alarm systems). Develop construction documents for power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems. Coordinate with in-house teams and external specialists for low-voltage system support. Collaborate with other disciplines (architects, mechanical/plumbing engineers) on project requirements. Perform electrical load calculations and develop one-line diagrams. Conduct field verifications for renovation projects and develop accurate design deliverables. Perform construction administration tasks, including responding to RFI's and conducting site visits. Provide QA/QC review of designs. Lead business development efforts, including participation in trade organizations and client presentations. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering 10í¢â‚¬"15 years of consulting engineering experience in electrical design and project management. Proficiency in design software: Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP, Easypower. Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), State Energy Code, and NFPA guidelines. Experience conducting electrical system studies (e.g., Arc Flash Hazard analysis, short circuit, etc.). Ability to manage multiple project teams and instruct junior staff. Proven track record designing for Healthcare, Commercial, Education, and Public Sector projects. Preferred Qualifications: PE License RCDD certification is a plus.
