28th August, 2024 Job Purpose A PPU Supervisor III with EnerMech Mechanical Services will be expected to report to the Operations Manager and support the Project Manager by supervising, directing, and executing operations onsite for one or more PPU services (e.g. Filling, Flushing, Pigging, Leak Testing, N2/Heal Leak Testing, Hydrotesting, Dewatering, Conditioning, Umbilical Hydraulic & Electrical Testing, Umbilical Fiber Optic Testing, Umbilical Commissioning/Fluid Displacement and Flushing, Bolting, Torqueing, and Tensioning Operations). Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas Typically, acting as overall lead with control of operational activities to ensure effective project completion in accordance with the approved procedures. Working with the Project Team during the Planning Phase to ensure the development of efficient and accurate technical procedures, equipment drawings, and calculations. Accountability for the proper load out of equipment to include: equipment specifications, assisting in the procurement process, pre-mobilization & post-mobilization function testing. Responsibility for all QHSE related matters to ensure a safe and efficient execution of the project. Responsibility for accurate, timely, and client approval of all field generated paperwork so to prevent any delays in invoicing and to ensure all aspects of the project are properly catalogued and recorded per EnerMech policies, procedures, and project specific contracts. Providing up-to-date and accurate reports to EnerMech and Client personnel where applicable Workshop duties, including assisting with equipment maintenance when required. Providing leadership and training to Technicians and Trainees whenever appropriate. Ensuring technicians receive a post job evaluation that is submitted to the Operations Manager upon project completion. Working closely with the engineers/project manager in identification of project specific equipment spreads and directly supervise the quarantine, assembly, function test, and mobilization of all project specific equipment spreads. Ensuring the Project Load Out Lists are accurate and up to date by communicating daily with the project team; ensuring the quarantine areas are easily identified and marked to verify boundary of equipment. While not assigned on a project, working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure the warehouse and surrounding facilities are in good working order, all equipment is functioned tested and properly stowed for future projects. Providing assistance to Operations Manager when selecting personnel for specific project teams. Managing, directing, and supervising sub-contractors, suppliers, or third party vendors where applicable Acting as a QHSE focal point during all phases of the project; ensuring compliance with policies and procedures set forth by EnerMech and/or Client (whichever is more stringent) Proving support to all EnerMech business lines as required Demonstrating a personal commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment. Applying EnerMech Group and, where appropriate, Client's Health, Safety, & Environment Policies and Procedures. Ensuring that all Quality and operational procedures as identified in EnerMech QA Manuals are adhered to at all times. Maintaining and embracing ownership of departmental policies and procedures. Qualifications Essential 7+ years of field experience with 4+ years serving as a supervisor in a PPU service line. High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's License, Valid Passport, SafeGulf/RigPass, BOSIET, TWIC, and UKOOA medical examination. Preferred Mechanical/Vocational Certification or equivalent Experience in multiple PPU Services Experience, Competence, Skills & Knowledge Required for position Ability to use Microsoft Products - Word, Excel, Outlook. Strong leadership skills. Flexible attitude to working hours and shift patterns in order to get the job done. Comfort operating in a field environment. Ability to accurately generate, maintain, and submit field paperwork. Ability to provide accurate reporting. Basic understanding of diesel engines. Understanding of fittings and their associated pressure ratings. A basic understanding of pressure awareness. Ability to perform basic math related to Process, Pipeline, & Umbilical services. Skills in conflict resolution. Ability to read and follow P&IDs. Effective utilization of document management software - Adobe, Acrobat, BlueBeam, etc. (PDFs).
