Indotronix is seeking a Onsite Job - Inspection & Quality Technician for a Job Opportunity in Job Title: Onsite Job - Inspection & Quality Technician Location: Charlotte NC Duration: 12 Months Contract Max Pay: $18/hr to $21.62/hr on W2 Job Description : Supports testing and control of raw materials and finished product quality, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable government regulations. Responsibilities: Provide first response and containment for supplier quality issues on the line Perform PPAP administration in Prism and follow up to ensure supplier compliance and communication Support scrap process - confirming scrap and writing tickets for approval from the department approver Create non-conformance reports for suppliers and issue charge backs per standard work Perform layered process audits within production Develop and maintain all quality records and documentation in accordance with established quality policies, regulations, standards, and customer requirements. Back-up Final Auditor for production floor. Competencies: Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and manufacturing quality tools. Advanced written communication skills Microsoft suite proficiency (I.e. Excel Basic management skills, including planning and organization, decision making, problem solving, and project management. Advanced verbal communication skills, including participation in group presentations to all levels of management, customers, and suppliers. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, supervisors, technical support, and employees. Required Skill Set : 2-year Associates or Technical degree (preferred) or combination of education and related work experience (required). 2+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a dynamic, high pressure environment Desired Skills Set : Experience in using Continuous Improvement (CI) tools to deliver continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated ability in the use of appropriate problem-solving tools including root cause analysis Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to facilitate and motivate teams Technical knowledge / understanding of commercial HVAC manufacturing processes.
