There is a need for sixth Gastroenterologist to join a very busy and established practice based in Bloomington, Indiana; a city that is consistently ranked as one of the top places to live in the country. This is a very well tenured group with the most recent member of the team joining the group five years ago. EUS and ERCP experience would be ideal. Practice highlights: A first year guarantee of at least $400,000 will be offered, but it will be your production that will allow you to increase your earnings even more. Historically, physicians are off the guarantee within six months and transition to a more lucrative "eat what you kill" model. Receive a comprehensive benefit and recruitment package including, but not limited to: group health, 401K, long term disability, term life insurance, all licensure and dues, paid malpractice insurance and more. After two year, there is the opportunity to become a partner in the practice. Call is shared equally with all the physicians participating, providing a 1:6 call schedule for the incoming physician. On average, you will be spending your morning performing procedures (usually 7am to maybe noon or 1PM, after that the center slows down for recovery and is closed by 3pm) then on to either the office or hospital for your afternoon consults. There is also participation with the medical students through a partnership with the IU School of Medicine. Additionally, they have one month clerkships for medical students who can rotate through the practice to gain valuable experience, something that the current providers all enjoy.
