Role As a CNC Machinist (also known as CNC Operator, CNC Technician), your duties will include checking and setting up machines, operating multiple machines simultaneously, ensuring quality control, and maintaining cleanliness. You will work with technical drawings, manage standard work documentation, and handle parts ranging from 25-75 pieces. Your precision will be key, with tolerances to 1000th of an inch. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 2 years machining experience or education equivalent in related field. Experience in setting up and operating CNC machining work centers, making tool changes, and making in-process offset changes. Ability to read and follow standard work, use metrology equipment effectively, and read blueprints. Working knowledge of CNC controls i.e. Fanuc, Siemens, Okuma OSP. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, basic math and PC skills, and ability to work with minimum supervision. Physical ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
