Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Manager of Financial Reporting will be responsible for leading the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements. The successful candidate will develop and maintain the internal controls that support the financial reporting process including the systems that are utilized in the financial reporting process. Responsibilities include: Ensure compliance to external reporting requirements (e.g., lender reporting) including timing submission of quarterly and annual filings Assist with leading the implementation of new technical accounting pronouncements and documentation of technical accounting policies and position papers Prepare financial management reports and file them with relevant stakeholders. Prepare and review GAAP reports on a monthly, quarterly, and/or annual basis. Coordinate with external auditors as necessary. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of financial reporting policies, procedures, and key assumptions to support internal controls and audit readiness. Work with other departments, ensure regulatory/statutory financial compliance in all jurisdictions. Maintain confidentiality of our financial data. Working with other departments to analyze financial performance, variances, and trends to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance financial reporting processes and controls to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and reliability. Communication: Effectively communicate financial results, findings, and recommendations to senior management. Assist with adhoc reporting requirements from the sponsors The ideal candidate for the role will meet the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA or equivalent certification is required 5 to 7 years of Public Accounting or equivalent experience preferred Prior experience with completing the annual Audit is preferred Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Proficient knowledge and use of automated accounting systems (NetSuite) Proficiency with intercompany transactions and eliminations is preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills a plus Strong communication skills and abilities to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, and General Ledger software Prior experience in a private equity-backed technology business is desired In addition, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate a complex, fast-paced environment.
