Position Overview The York Parts?Distribution?Center is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team! The York PDC at over 390,000 sq feet, opened in 2004, services Dealers and Customers in the North East Region. The shift is between the operating hours of?08:00 am to 6:00 pm?Monday?through Friday. Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities include but not limited to: Supervisory responsibility of up to 25 hourly?employees Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations Provides leadership to the PDC operations team to help drive overall metric performance and meet customer expectations Safeguards PDC operations by establishing and monitoring safety and security procedures and protocols Leads PDC operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work progress Leads PDC clerical staff through coaching, counseling, and accountability standards Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed May assist in additional leadership responsibilities such as being responsible for training, safety coordinator duties, slotting on the products in the PDC or coordinating inbound and outbound transportation activities Drive continuous improvement on the shop floor and ensuring achieving our metric and KPI goals are met You may be required to assist team to achieve the PDC's daily goals This position requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly, and includes stooping, walking and standing for long periods of time Include any of the following activities related to the receiving, storing, and/or shipping of materials or finished goods: Ensures materials are received from proper vendors, that they are delivered to inventory, and that finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner Reviews receipt of all materials to ensure purchase orders are open and the quality of materials received is correct Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control Ensures materials are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing schedules Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures Maintains documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree At least 3 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Distribution/Warehouse experience OR Master's degree At least 1 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Distribution/Warehouse experience OR At least 5 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Distribution/Warehouse experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
