Location: Baltimore, MD Job Type: CDL A Truck Driver Pay: $1,300 to $1,500 weekly on average, Minimum Pay Program Sign-on Bonus: $1,000 Orientation pay: $1,000 Home Time: 2 full days home every other week Equipment: Automatic Transmission Freightliners, Volvos, and Peterbilts Freight: 100% no-touch freight, mostly drop and hook loads Experience: 6 months within the last 24 months or 1 year within the last 36 months Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, 401K/Profit Sharing, Disability and Life Insurance, Vacation pay Job Details: Pay and Home Time: Drivers for this CDL A Truck Driver position will be on the road for 2 weeks at a stretch and will enjoy home time every other week. While efforts are made to align home time with weekends, weekend returns are not guaranteed. The role yields an average weekly pay of $1,300 to $1,500, alongside a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Our minimum pay program ensures stable earnings even when unforeseen circumstances arise. You'll have the option to choose between CPM or percent of load pay structures, automatically calculated to ensure you receive the highest pay rate. Duties: CDL A truck drivers will be hauling general freight in dry van trailers across all 48 states will be your primary responsibility. With the majority of loads being drop and hook, you can maximize your mileage efficiency. Equipment Details: Access top-of-the-line equipment post-orientation, with options including Freightliner Coronado/122SD, Freightliner Cascadia/Evolution, Volvo VN780, Volvo VNL860, and Peterbilt 579. All trucks are equipped with APU and Inverter. Orientation: Upon joining our team as a CDL A truck driver, travel arrangements via flight or rental car, single-person accommodation, and meal provisions during orientation are covered. Feel free to bring along a spouse or pet, thanks to our rider and Pet policy. Orientation pays $1,000, disbursed with your first paycheck. Additionally, we provide a rider program and pet policy with no wait time. During orientation, individuals can even have their pets stay with them in the hotel. Furthermore, we offer detention and layover pay. Qualifications: To qualify for this CDL A truck driver position, applicants must hold a CDL A license, possess a current DOT medical card, and have either six months of experience within the last 24 months or one year of experience within the last 36 months. The experience should involve operating a tractor with a 40-foot or longer trailer. Interview Process: Complete a full Department of Transportation application, following which we'll conduct comprehensive CDL A Driver reports including PSP, DAC, MVR, and employment verifications. Upon receipt of all reports, we'll extend an employment offer, arrange an orientation date, and coordinate travel logistics. Orientation includes a new DOT physical and a road test, alongside thorough familiarization with company policies and equipment. Transportation, single-person accommodation, and meals are provided during orientation, with an additional $1,000 orientation pay. Orientation typically commences on Mondays.
