Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Mechanical Project Engineer for a full-time position in the Alpharetta, Georgia area. Job Details í‚ oí‚ í‚ í‚ Interfacing directly with clients, team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectationsí‚ oí‚ í‚ í‚ Working with technical teams to generate proposals and project estimatesí‚ oí‚ í‚ í‚ Ensure projects maintain scope scheduleí‚ oí‚ í‚ í‚ Ensure projects stay within budgetí‚ oí‚ í‚ í‚ Review edquipment specificationsí‚ oí‚ í‚ í‚ Tracking project financials, schedules, status, and change managementí‚ oí‚ í‚ í‚ Ensuring completion of work within allotted schedules and budgets to high quality standardsí‚ oí‚ í‚ í‚ Creating project plans that include schedules, milestones, controls, and risk management plansí‚ oí‚ í‚ í‚ Supporting safety planning for Allnorth teamsí‚ oí‚ í‚ í‚ Resolving performance, scope, and schedule issues as they ariseí‚ í¢â‚¬¢í‚ í‚ í‚ building business relationships with current and potential clientsí‚ í¢â‚¬¢í‚ í‚ í‚ Seeking continuous improvement opportunities to positively impact project and team performanceí‚ Requirements for Qualification: í¢â‚¬¢í‚ í‚ í‚ Bachelorí¢â‚¬â„¢s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred but may consider non-degreed candidates with ample experienceí‚ í¢â‚¬¢í‚ í‚ í‚ 5-10+ years of relevant experience, preferably from a consulting engineering background in industrial projects - such as chemical or pulp and paper (may take less)í‚ í¢â‚¬¢í‚ í‚ í‚ Autocad Plant 3D is preferred (will not have to design - just need to know how to navigate within the software)í‚ í¢â‚¬¢í‚ í‚ í‚ Pipeflow and/or Autoplant is a plus í‚ í¢â‚¬¢í‚ í‚ í‚ Knowledge of and ability to use effective approaches for selecting an economic course of action or developing appropriate solutions and/or reaching conclusions, based on available facts, constraints, and anticipated consequencesí‚ í¢â‚¬¢í‚ í‚ í‚ EIT is a must, and a PE is preferred is possible í‚ Compensation: $120,000í‚ - $150,000 annual salary.í‚ Schedule:í‚ Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
