We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Lakeland, FL. The successful candidate will lead and oversee all electrical engineering activities across various projects, engaging with clients, developing proposals, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering 8+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering within chemical, manufacturing, or industrial markets Proficiency in designing low/medium/high voltage electrical equipment (e.g., switchgear, transformers, motors, motor control centers, lighting, grounding, cables, and cable raceways) Extensive experience in Electrical Engineering design, including load calculations, single lines, motor schematics, grounding, area lighting, electrical equipment selection and sizing, and layout constraints Working knowledge of process controls and instrumentation (preferred) Familiarity with codes and standards affecting electrical work, including NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and OSHA Proficiency in various Electrical design software (e.g., SKM) and Excel Experience defining project scope, execution plan, manpower estimates, and schedule for Electrical work on multi-discipline projects Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously Proficient at coordinating work with multi-discipline teams to achieve project goals Experience in managing others to achieve quality, cost, and schedule requirements Willingness to travel to client facilities for project development and execution FL P.E. License with NCEES record (likely a must) TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card) (preferred) Responsibilities: Assist with client engagement and proposal development, defining electrical scope, manpower requirements, and schedule Develop value-added solutions to clientsí¢â‚¬â„¢ design problems related to low and medium voltage power systems Perform Electrical calculations including short circuit, load studies, arc flash, and lighting Develop Electrical deliverables such as reports, specifications, load studies, single lines, schematics, cable schedules, grounding plans, lighting layouts, and electrical room layouts Coordinate with multi-discipline engineering teams Review engineering deliverables from other disciplines to ensure compliance with electrical requirements Type of Job: Direct Hire Salary Range: $145,000- $165,000 Shift and Hours: Monday- Friday 8 AM- 5 PM If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Jaie Rogers at or call . í‚
