Job Title: Quality Control Inspector Location: Geneva, OH 44041 Duration: 2 months Contract Shift: Monday to Friday (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) Pay Rate: $ 20.00 to $24.00/Hour Job Description: As a DFT (Dry Film Thickness) Paint Inspector, you will ensure that the paint and coating applications on our products meet the required specifications and quality standards. Your primary role will be to conduct inspections, document findings, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Additionally, you will manage the sorting of non-conforming materials and conduct thorough inspections to ensure the highest quality of our products. Key Responsibilities: Perform inspections of painted and coated surfaces to ensure they meet specified thickness and quality requirements. Utilize various inspection tools and instruments such as micrometers, DFT gauges, and other measuring devices. Document and report inspection results, identifying any defects or deviations from specifications. Sort and manage non-conforming materials to ensure they are properly handled and documented. Conduct thorough sorting and inspections to identify and address quality issues. Collaborate with the production team to ensure corrective actions are taken for any identified issues. Maintain accurate records of inspections and provide detailed reports to the quality control team. Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations. Conduct regular audits and inspections of painting and coating processes. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and best practices. Provide training and guidance to production staff on proper painting and coating techniques. Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and advancements in inspection technologies. Qualifications: GED or equivalent qualification; technical or vocational training in a related field is a plus. Proven experience as a DFT Paint Inspector or in a similar role. Experience with sorting non-conforming materials and conducting thorough inspections. Proficiency in using inspection tools and instruments. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and deviations. Excellent documentation and reporting skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to painting and coating. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
