Job Title: RF/Microwave Design Engineer Job Location: Lexington MA 02420 Onsite Requirements: RF Subsystem Design PCB Board layout lab testing Job Description: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design, develop, and test RF subsystems using COTS components at HF frequencies and higher (possibly up to 10's of GHz) Design, develop, and test analog and digital phased arrays for mmWave systems Coordinate logistics of large-scale hardware installations including interfacing between lab engineers and site managers/installers Must Have: Hardware: RF subsystem design and PCB board layout Experience designing and lab-testing RF subsystem s(e.g., use of network analyzers, signal generators, etc.) Experience with mmWave systems Experience with 3D printing mmWave filters and components Experience with communication signal processing and protocols Experience coordinating and fielding RF-based equipment for test and demonstration Experience in phased array design from 10's of MHz to10's of GHz Experience in measuring propagation loss through materials such as radomes Experience simulating RF mmWave components and systems Education: PhD plus 5 years minimum experience, or MS plus 8 years minimum experience Qualification Assessment Must Have Degree Level Bachelor's Degree Yes Electrical/Electronics PCB Design and Layout 20 years Experience Phased Array Antennas 20 years RF/Microwave RF Signals (Antennas, EM Propagation and Modeling, Down-Conversion Receivers) 20 years RF Systems 20 years Signal Processing Signal Processing 20 years Systems Experience with mmWave systems 20 years Nice to Have Degree Level Masters Degree Yes ** 3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on this position. 3rd party subcontractors need not apply.
