Job Overview: We are growing and looking for a Director of Lean Manufacturing who is responsible for all aspects of shop floor operations to include: Validation Audits, ISO audits, lean layouts, process flows, 5S program, leading Quality systems, process control, document control, Nonconformance control, production throughput, building demand forecasts for vendors to maximize efficiency, equipment maintenance and operation, work instructions/procedures compliance, cost control and avoidance, continuous improvement, safety, and schedule compliance. Key Job Responsibilities: Responsible for leading development strategy including the designing of the metrics for the function and performance. Carry out validation audits such as ISO 9001: 2015, UL Audits, etc. Perform Lean Layouts, Process flow. Perform advanced product quality planning. Creating and performing PFMEA and Control Plan audits. Working with TESCO's Engineering team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements. Supporting purchasing with supplier approval by assessing manufacturing and technology capabilities. Supporting new product launches to ensure processes can deliver to the required quality standards; and other duties as assigned. Design and implementation of 5S- Lean Manufacturing and Lean Logistics in Manufacturing and Manufacturing Support areas. Design and develop a cross-training plan for all areas in Manufacturing. Use interdepartmental resources to solve complex problems. Work with Sales, Engineering, and Purchasing to provide the customer with good quality products in a timely manner, while still maintaining the highest possible profit margin. Help process engineers fine-tune existing processes Continually seeking for ways to streamline processes Enforce all company policies and procedures Other duties as directed by management Follow all ESD policies and procedures Interact with suppliers/customers, and others as needed Position Requirements: Minimum 4-year college degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field or scope, equivalent training or a combination of both college and professional training Minimum 2 years leading Quality Systems, performing Audits Minimum 2 years of previous manufacturing experience Minimum 2 years of experience in data collection methods and analysis of KPIs. Six Sigma Black Belt or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is required. ISO 9001:2015 Auditor training is required. Strong project management skills Effective presentation skills Ability to organize team(s) to work quickly and effectively towards hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and semi-annual and annual goals. Proven ability to motivate others toward an end goal Strong computer skills working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.) Experience with electronic circuit board assembly preferred. Knowledge of components is preferred.
