Job Purpose Perform a wide range of physical activities associated with the operation of the extrusion line/process and auxiliary equipment operation. Take stock shapes from primary operation, extrusion, and add value to product by means of annealing and removing additional stock to specified tolerance. Operator will load and unload nitrogen/air annealing ovens as well as operate centerless grinders. Principal Accountabilities Setup and trouble shoot all grinders. Perform operator PM's on the machines. Hand Feed Grinder Using In-feed Support Table Dressing Grinding and Regulating Wheels using diamond head Measure pre & post process rod using three point micrometer down to 0.0005" Adjust work-rest blades to ensure that rod is being ground on or below centerline Program and adjust lay-line printing device Load & Unload rod, tube and plate in air and nitrogen ovens Select correct annealing rig and oven cycle that pertains to material, size and shape of polymer Additional Responsibilities Attending and participating Safety Huddles and Department Meetings #LI-DNP Knowledge / Skills / Experience High School Diploma/GED Completion of required process and quality records. Production reporting using barcode system; access and use of SOPs, JSAs, Exhibits, and Control Plans on company intranet. Use of various hand and power tools and measuring equipment. Proficiency with both stand-up and walk-behind Fork trucks: OSHA license required Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections) The salary for this position is $22.72. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
