Position Summary: The Vice President of Business Development is primarily responsible for revenue generation by securing agreements from new prospects and existing clients. Priorities include meeting with new prospects, nurturing existing relationships for continued deals, preparing presentation strategy and materials and tracking revenue budget numbers and profitability targets. General Responsibilities: Maintains business development database Provides assistance to President with clients as needed Reviews and compiles weekly and monthly production reports Attends weekly business development meetings Attends industry events as scheduled Business Development: Schedulesbusiness development meetings and networking opportunities Manages existing client relationships Outreach to potential developer relationships Creates and supervises presentation packages, proposals and agreements Manages tracking and reporting of business development pipeline Executes signedlisting agreements targeting % and fee profitability targets Educational seminars/coursework to enhance and stay abreast of the real estate market Membership/networking with DCBIA, Urban Land Institute (ULI), CREW, and/or related real estate associations Client Relationship Management: Assists with transitioning new clients to sales and marketing teams Assists President with general building project management as needed Required Skills and Knowledge: Research and analytical skills General knowledge of the real development market General knowledge of the new construction condo and apartment market General knowledge of multi family equity and debt finance Prezi Presentation software, excel and power point MRIS, tax records and other real estate data sites We are a company that provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
