Sourcing Manager Location: Oakland, C Duration: 3 plus months contract with possibility of extension. Start: Targeting October 2024 Pay Range: $96/hr to $103/hr on W2 Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, sick time based on state laws Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager to lead our IT procurement efforts, specifically focused on enterprise software, SaaS, and Cloud services. The ideal candidate will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts with top-tier vendors, and drive cost savings while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal teams to align category strategies with business goals and identify improvement opportunities. Conduct market research, engage suppliers, and utilize sourcing methods such as RFPs and E-auctions to achieve 10%+ cost savings. Lead contract negotiations with Cloud and SaaS vendors, ensuring favorable terms and regulatory compliance. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement. Manage supplier relationships, conduct regular performance reviews, and address risks to ensure business continuity. Collaborate with procurement and cross-functional teams to share best practices and drive team success. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in IT sourcing, specifically focused on enterprise software, SaaS, and Cloud services. 7+ years of experience managing senior-level relationships with top-tier enterprise SaaS vendors. 7+ years of experience in enterprise technology procurement and contract negotiation, with deep expertise in SaaS licensing models and contract terms. Proven ability to lead large-scale software optimization initiatives, including application rationalization and license optimization. Demonstrated success in achieving 10%+ year-over-year savings through strategic sourcing and contract negotiations. Strong understanding of data analytics and the ability to leverage insights for informed decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. bility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
