Job Details We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our organization as a Senior Internal Auditor. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in evaluating the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with regulations and policies. You will conduct complex audits and provide valuable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks. This position offers a flexible office environment based on a 'Moments that Matter' work schedule, allowing for a balance between in-office and remote work as needed. Interacts with all levels of company team members and executives, outside client representatives, vendors, and other business-related representatives to gain an understanding of business processes. Participate in complex audits in accordance with established audit procedures and standards. Conduct interviews, gather supporting documentation, perform testing, and document observations during audit fieldwork in compliance with department standards. Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable internal policies, laws, or regulations. Identify control deficiencies or process inefficiencies that may result in risks or non-compliance along with related root causes and potential recommendations. Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported workpapers documenting audit findings. Works closely with leadership in Internal Controls, Operations, Business Units and IT departments in resolving financial or operational control issues. Proactively keeps Internal Audit management informed regarding the status of the audit, challenges or opportunities encountered, and potential findings. Actively participates in making the Internal Audit department a respected and valued partner within the organization. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, emerging risks, and best practices related to internal auditing. Assists on other internal departmental projects as assigned (i.e., major initiatives, internal audit related training). Willing to travel up to 10-15% of the time. Perform other duties as assigned. Requires an undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related business discipline is required.Three (3) year minimum applicable audit experience, obtained from either internal audit or public accounting. Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotech is preferred but not required.An active professional certification in at least one area (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA, CMA, etc.) is preferred. Shows flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks, recommends allocating/re-allocating work across engagement team members when assigned, or stepping in to support execution, as appropriate. Strong knowledge of risks, process, and controls across financial, operational and compliance areas. Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both written and verbal) skills. Innovative, out of the box thinker and adaptable to a changing environment. Strong project management, time management, and prioritization skills. Comfortable with leading-edge audit and risk assessment methodologies. Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skill with the ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization and facilitate the implementation of corrective action. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience working with SAP systems and using PC-based spreadsheet and/or data analytic software (Alteryx or Power Bi) is a plus.
