Overview As the Claims Advocate your main mission is to coordinate and work with Home Owners, Adjusters, and Agents in order to make sure sure invoices are covered and the homeowner is advocated for. The Claims Advocate is also in charge of communicating with insurance companies, sending damage reports, communicating and coordinating with our production team and more. You will work closely with customers and all members of the team to support policies and job functions that reinforce the core values and culture of the organization. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Develop exceptional rapport with homeowners, adjusters, agents and all parties involved. Maintain contact with homeowners, adjusters, agents, and all parties involved. Assist with invoices from customer payments via our Proven Jobs system and QuickBooks. Assist our Production Manager for Billing and Dispatch when needed. Set up Proven Jobs (PSA) and create accurate notes on all jobs as needed. Coordinate with other departments and office staff to complete projects, paperwork, and keep the processes timely for each project. Work on all accounts receivables. Fantastic Customer Service with Empathy is a necessity. Demonstrate a positive image of the Company to clients. Any other duties as assigned. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Being familiar with and utilize PSA, QuickBooks, Google Workspace, Microsoft office, and BambooHR website/software. Additional software as needed. Your Qualifications Believe in our mission to Restore Peace in Crisis. Embody our Core Values of Humility, Unity, Growth, and Ownership Must be able to pass a background check. At least 2 years of admin and customer service experience. Experience with insurance, claims, or adjusting is highly preferred. 1 - 3 years of industry experience highly preferred but not necessary depending on skills. Excellent customer service and empathy skills. Generate information within a reasonable time frame with accuracy and efficiency. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted through the course of work; gain cooperation through discussion and persuasion. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; must be proficient in reading and writing the English language. Apply general mathematical and data entry skills, including the use of a mobile smartphone device. Apply established Company policies and procedures. Work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
