Croda is seeking a QC Analyst responsible for performing cGMP sample analysis on all raw materials, in-process samples, finished product and stability samples. Maintain proper documentation. Follow all applicable policies, procedures & work instruction. Perform all duties within the Company's safety, health, and environmental regulations. All other duties as assigned by management. Responsible for plant electrical and instrument maintenance work including wiring, conduit installation, requisitioning of parts, troubleshooting, instrumentation calibration, oversight of E&I contractors when assigned, documentation of work performed, and other assigned tasks. Perform all duties within the company's safety, health and environmental regulations. All other duties as assigned by management. KEY DUTIES: Troubleshoot and Repair Plant Equipment Motors, power distribution systems, lighting, heating & cooling, boiler ignition, fire alarms, DCS control systems, variable frequency drives, process controls, alarms, etc. Instrument 4-20 mA control loops. Troubleshoot system performance and determine instrumentation and system faults. Diagnose control equipment using various computer software. PLC logic (Allen Bradley RSLogix) and systems. Routine Calibrations of Control Devices to Maintain Compliance with ISO9002 Calibration of plant devices and realignment to within 1% tolerance. Calibration of environmental monitoring devices and realignment to within manufacture specifications. Operate precision calibration equipment to meet set calibration standards. Maintain calibration records to conform to ISO9002 Installation of Electrical Equipment and Systems Power distribution systems, motor control centers, transformers, power panels, lighting panels. Lighting, heating & cooling, cooling towers, circulation pumps, AC. Instrumentation, boiler ignition, fire alarms. DCS Controls- Fisher Rosemount Delta V and associated wiring. Variable frequency drives, motors, motor starters, process controls, alarms. Supervise outside contractors when assigned. Conduit installation per NEC Class 1, Division 1 and 2 Group BCD. Preventative Maintenance Perform preventative maintenance in the following areas: Motors, motor starters, power distribution systems, heating & cooling, boiler ignition, fire alarms, instrument control systems, UPS, grounding systems, etc. Other Duties: Completion of required permits- Hot works, etc. Experience Required: 3 Years electrical experience in a production environment. Experience with typical electrical test instruments, e.g VOM and Amp Probe. Experience reading and designing electrical prints and working with technical drawings. Education/ Specialized Training Required: Technical Certification, electrical training, AS Degree in technical field or equivalent experience. Must have oral and written proficient in the English language Physical requirements: Able to walk, stand & sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Required to move throughout production areas and on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and ladders. Able to lift 75 pounds. Must be able to work at heights up to 40 feet.
