Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in industrial and power/process sector projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical engineering principles, particularly in power distribution and generation, as well as experience with electrical system modeling software. This role also involves project management, client interaction, and business development, making it ideal for a motivated engineer looking to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth of the office. Responsibilities: Design and manage complex electrical systems for industrial and power/process projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Utilize electrical system modeling software such as SKM or ETAP for system analysis and design. Lead Balance of Plant (BoP) process electrical design, integrating electrical systems with chilled water, compressed air, and steam/hot water systems. Manage multiple projects, working with internal MEP/FP teams to meet client objectives and project deadlines. Participate in business development efforts, including identifying prospective clients and contributing to proposal development. Communicate effectively with architects, owners, and contractors, ensuring client satisfaction and project success. Qualifications: B.S. in Electrical Engineering. 7+ years of experience with complex building electrical systems, particularly in the industrial and power/process sector. Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.), with a Tennessee P.E. license or the ability to obtain one. Proficiency in Revit is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent written and oral communication abilities. Willingness to travel (10%).
