Our portfolio consists of 8.8-9.1 pH Alkaline Artesian evamor Water , small batch brewed Luzianne Iced Tea and East Coast's beloved 100% Arabica New England Coffee. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is the lead key salesperson in an assigned geography. This person is responsible for executing a go-to-market strategy within the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) system as well managing and building strong business relationships with our Distribution Partners within the region. A RSM works as part of a team but also trains Field Sales Managers sharing knowledge and expertise. READY TO DRINK? Must be able to perform responsibilities successfully: Implements sales strategies to deliver annual volume objectives of the region, expanding independent and key account and package distribution to maximize sales Builds and maintains Regional Key Account Business and Relationships Continuously monitors and reports competitive activities while keeping abreast of market trends Monitors the performance of distributors within the assigned territory, identifies issues and resolves them quickly Works with distributor personnel and retailers to ensure sales, distribution and merchandising objectives are met Trains Field Sales Managers and develops distributor sales personnel on our standards to optimize sales performance. Rolls out and champions our brand platform across all market segments Effectively leverages Field Marketing resources with local retailers and supports key retailer sales calls with the Sr National Account Manager Responds timely to customer inquiries and resolves issues and concerns promptly while keeping customer retention a priority Establishes sales budgets for the assigned geography, in conjunction with the VP of Distribution Uses the ShelvSpace App daily to record account calls, accomplishments and opportunities READY TO GROW? The minimum requirements: BA/BS in Business related field preferred 8+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience growing markets within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, preferably food/beverage Experience working for or with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Distributors Account sales experience is a plus Knowledge of utilizing the ShelvSpace App or similar software Responsive and flexible with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction Energetic and optimistic disposition with the ability to positively influence others Confident and decisive decision maker Resourceful and innovative problem solver with ability to identify alternative solutions and select the best option Competitive and charmingly persistent in nature Strong sense of urgency to meet schedules, deadlines, quotas, and performance goals Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Sound financial acumen Proficient in MS Office Programs, advanced Excel skills Willingness and ability to travel overnight as needed Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 pounds Benefits include health insurance, 401k, LTD, paid vacation and holidays!
