CLINICAL ASSISTANT

RMA is looking for a Part Time Clinical Assistant for our Basking Ridge Surgery Center. This is a position would work 3 days a week. Responsibilities: Assist physicians with clinical procedures Accurately document ultrasound report in stim sheet Identify specimen for insemination Maintain sterile technique Perform routine patient assessment Phlebotomy Clean exam rooms promptly Maintain clinical supplies inventory Manage lanfax for outside labs, reports, results, prescriptions refills Enter all labs and outside reports Comfort patients by anticipating patient's anxieties; answering patient's questions Assure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards Maintain an excellent rapport and working relationship with multidisciplinary teams within the Practice Requirements: Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program required; State certification preferred Minimum 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice Women's Healthcare background preferred Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel EMR experience preferred Strong phlebotomy skills Ability to communicate accurately and concisely Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional
