Job Description Forefront Healthcare is looking for a passionate leader to join our team! We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Dietitian/Healthcare Manager at a beautiful senior living community in Columbus, GA The Registered Dietitian / Healthcare Manager will lead and direct the functions of clinical nutrition and healthcare culinary team: nutrition assessment, counseling/consultation, performance improvements ensuring high quality nutritional care is provided to residents while meeting Federal, State and local standards. Essential Job Functions Calculate nutritional needs, establish goals, and implement medical nutrition therapy for residents based on their overall nutritional status. Hire, lead, train and develop nutrition team members and support kitchen workforce Maintains compliance of standards for meal service, food quality, task performance, and budget responsibility Monitor competencies, productivity and documentation accuracy of kitchen workforce in healthcare. Establish effective strategies to implement innovative programs which lead to optimal clinical nutrition and positive financial outcomes Promote Health & Wellness for the Residents and staff through monthly RD/Chef food demos, monthly educational series, and partnering with Facility Wellness Coordinator for wellness activities Compile with regulatory standards - both Federal and State and accrediting agencies adhering to confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, residents' right policies and CMS regulations Collaborate with IDT team to provide quality nutrition and culinary Qualifications 3 plus years as a registered dietitian with managerial responsibilities Must have thorough knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, administration and operations of senior living Must have knowledge of HACCP guidelines Additional Information Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Sciences or related field Registered Dietitian (RN) by the Commission of Dietetic Registration and Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in state(s) where applicable Competencies Outstanding decision making and judgment capabilities Leadership qualities Ability to identify and solve complex problems Effective logic, reasoning and critical thinking skills Active listening skills Team player Salary: $70,000-$75,000 Year
