The position of a Maintenance Technician will assist the VP of Maintenance & Facilities with overseeing daily Maintenance needs are being met and completed in a timely manner. They will also be responsible for upholding the standard policies and procedures within their assigned department. Experience with high-speed Unit Sorters (Cross Belt, Tilt Tray, Sliding shoe) Experience with Case Sorters (Narrow Belt, Pop Up, Sliding Shoe, swivel wheel) Experience with Conveyor Controls--PLCs, understanding processes, and I/O (inputs & outputs) Experience with RS Logix and PLC programming is a plus Experience troubleshooting photo eyes, encoders, laser line scanners; camera scanners and dimensions are pluses Experience with VFD controls Experience with high-speed Induction conveyor (servo motor) controls Experience with Warehouse Control Systems and SCADA such as Pyramid Director Experience with high speed In-Motion Scales Experience with high throughput, precision application Print & Apply systems Experience with ASRS systems (Automatic Storage & Retrieval System) Experience with MDR (Motorized Drive Roller) conveyors Experience with Powered Curve conveyors Electrical knowledge, 600v,480v,240v,120v,24v,12v Electrical knowledge of transformers Electrical knowledge of Motor Control Panels Knowledge of Air Systems (air compressors, valves, actuators, cylinders, devices) Understanding and experience with hydraulics (pumps, hoses, fittings) Experience with trash compactors and corrugated balers Understanding all facility needs, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, & electrical Able to read and understand schematics, blueprints, etc Must have thorough knowledge of all shop tools.
