What We Are Looking For Harvest is seeking a talented Maintenance Mechanic who will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing equipment to meet production, quality, and customer expectations. Responsibilities: -Troubleshoot motor control circuits, drives, and PLC systems -Perform routine PM's, repairs, rebuilds and modifies equipment assigned, including electrically controlled equipment -Complete necessary paperwork -Perform upgrades and/or changes to equipment as needed -Suggest ways to make production more efficient -Maintain a high level of safety awareness and report any unsafe or hazardous work conditions -Follow company policies and procedures as well as GMP's -Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups Requirements: -Min. 2 years Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferably food -Ability to work overtime -Ability to read, write and understand English -Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, fractions and decimals -Ability to stand duration of shift -Prior experience working in manufacturing with food grade processing, bagging and packaging equipment a plus -TIG Welding a plus
