VMware and Windows Engineer

Job Description: Works with the IT engineering team to implement and provide support to the agencys IT system infrastructure. Performs day-to-day activities related to the support, research, analysis, and implementation of VMware and Windows systems and infrastructure. Considerable knowledge, experience, and understanding of working in a VMware and Windows environment are required. In-depth experience with troubleshooting VMware and Windows problems. Thorough knowledge of and in-depth experience with performance monitoring, system testing, OS upgrade, and software patch Installation and testing in a VMware and Windows environment. Experience with standard server networking protocols. In-depth experience with medium to large-scale VMware and Windows environments. Experience with providing technical support. Experience working with and writing PowerShell scripting. Excellent communicative & collaborative skills.
