Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will manage maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction, in accordance with department protocols. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Responsible for the completion of work orders for tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of the assigned buildings utilizing work order-related software programs Responsible for implementing routine physical improvements Respond to emergencies in accordance with departmental protocol Assist Supervisor in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories and logs Implement, with the Supervisor, a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain all related records and logs Assist with controlling expenses associated with the operation of the buildings. Communicate effectively to appropriate individual building status and changes Adhere to all safety standards, policies & procedures, codes of conduct and best practices Act professionally and courteously at all times with tenants, hospital client, co-workers, vendors, patients, etc. Utilize materials, supplies, tools, and other building property in a safe, productive manner Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Maintenance Technicians Requirements 2+ years of related work experience and technical training High school graduate or GED required, technical school training in maintenance-related courses are preferred. Ability to understand and interpret design documents, manufacturer's specifications and written operational procedures Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure teamwork and positive client/tenant/co-worker relations Be able to take directions and follow instructions Must be safety conscious Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completion Basic aptitude for mathematics 24-hour availability for emergencies and as part of an on-call rotation. Capable of doing extensive walking, climbing of stairs and ladders, lifting/carrying a minimum of 50 pounds by applying proper body mechanics Willingness to work overtime on special projects as required. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new job-related software Have working knowledge of tools and their proper use CFC Handling Certification is preferred Lillibridge offers a competitive compensation and benefits package to the successful candidate.
