Maintenance Technician

Our Client has the immediate need for two (2) experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join their team on either their Sunday-Wednesday or Monday-Thursday schedule. They are one of the largest dairy companies in North America, and this would be a career role which would include the following incentives: ** Sign on bonus : $2000 paid in 3 installments ($500 at 30 days, $500 at 90 days, and $1000 at 12 months) Swing shift 2 pm - 12:30 am 2 schedules available- Sunday-Wednesday and Monday-Thursday Shift differential pay of $.50/hr. starting at 3:30 pm nnual tool allowance Pay for Performance: incentive bonus annually Unionized workforce Excellent benefits package! In this role, you will be responsible for: You will be trouble shooting mechanical breakdowns in manufacturing production equipment. You will be competent in electrical troubleshooting, equipment repair, preventative and predictive maintenance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will demonstrate your ability to communicate and work as a team with other key personnel within the operation. You will ensure you work with personal safety, food safety, and environmental standards, at top of mind. This includes following all established maintenance processes to adhere and uphold all plant technical standards and ensure company compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations. What we are looking for: You will have 2-4 years of maintenance experience in a food production/manufacturing environment, repairing and troubleshooting mechanical issues on packaging and/or filling equipment, and other food processing equipment. You will have previous experience with high-speed production equipment, packaging equipment experience is a plus. Previous dairy, food and beverage industry maintenance experience strongly desired You will have previous experience in a combination of the following areas: PLC, instrumentation, pumps, mechanical, pneumatic, motors, electrical, hydraulic, lubrication, HVAC, refrigeration, freezers, compressors, utilities, boilers and ammonia based systems. Must Haves: High School diploma or GED bility to pass a criminal background and drug screen
