Primarily sold under the Norton Rixson brand, we manufacture and distribute mechanical and electro-mechanical door closers, low energy door operators, concealed door closers, and various accessories related to door motion control. We are seeking an IT Analyst to join our ASSA ABLOY Norton Rixson team. The primary role of the IT Analyst is to ensure business processes and supporting systems continue to meet business project stakeholder needs. This position is a vital part of ensuring operations continue to produce without interruption. Therefore, the IT Analyst is a hands-on worker who will work with others to: provide the supporting process ecosystem for IT related systems and software. deals with tactical, day-to-day aspects of discovering, validating, documenting, and communicating business-process-related related problems/issues Primary Responsibilities Respond to inbound business application support calls and help desk tickets from internal users efficiently, courteously, and knowledgeably. Ensure all calls are resolved or appropriately escalated and maintain user communication. Resolve user issues by gathering information, understanding their needs, and researching solutions. Acquire and maintain working knowledge of a wide range of business applications, processes, and systems. Perform end-user testing for new functionalities as needed. Monitor and troubleshoot issues with Microsoft 365, including email, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Assist with IT projects, including software upgrades, network upgrades, and equipment installations, Camera system, Phone Systems, Conference Room Automation Provide first-level technical support for employees, including troubleshooting software and hardware issues, network connectivity problems, and printer malfunctions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Defines and documents business functions and processes. Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes. Serves as a liaison between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams for any issues that arise as well as any process change requests. Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements. Performing user acceptance testing. Knowledge and Skill Requirements Minimum of a two-year Technical Degree in related analytical field Minimum of two years of closely related experience in a manufacturing environment applying business analysis to manufacturing processes Excellent Oral and Written skills communications skills Strong presentation, spreadsheet, flow charting, and word processing skills Previous experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with a preference given to those with direct JD Edwards experience. Previous experience working in a manufacturing plant applying business analysis to manufacturing process. Experience with Microsoft SQL Power BI Must have exceptional skills in time management, problem solving, organization and attention to details Experience with project specification writing is desired Understanding of Microsoft Office 365 and related applications Experience with Microsoft Active Directory based network.
