Industrial Maintenance Technician III The Industrial Maintenance Technician is a key member of the Maintenance team responsible for performing critical maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities and equipment are operating effectively and free of hazards. This role involves inspecting, maintaining, and performing repairs on manufacturing and packaging equipment, assisting with troubleshooting and preventative repairs, and completing facilities requests. Effective communication and collaboration with the maintenance team and operations leadership are key components of this role. By maintaining our facilities and equipment, you provide invaluable support that ensures the uninterrupted operation of our organization. So, What's the Gig? Responsible for completing complex facilities and industrial equipment preventative maintenance. Exhibit advanced troubleshooting skills across a variety of complex systems and equipment. Communicate and coordinate repairs required with operations leadership. Demonstrate strong HVAC skills, including the repair and installation of new units to meet operational standards. Complete complex maintenance repairs of CNC Machines, Plastic Injection Molding machines, daily work orders and work requests around both campuses. Perform advanced and specialized troubleshooting and repairs on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Manage data entry into the Computerized Maintenance Management System Data (CMMS) Entry and Setup. Create purchase order requests and work with the Purchasing Department to order replacement parts for repairs and inventory. Ensure availability, proper storage, and timely ordering of critical spare parts to minimize downtime. Proactively coordinate contractor activities by identifying needs, scheduling tasks, monitoring progress, and evaluating outcomes. Train and mentor team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development. Occasionally perform additional campus repairs including roofing, siding, painting and framing. Adhere to current procedures and processes while proactively seeking opportunities for improvement. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment is always maintained. Assist in other operational activities as needed. What We're Looking For: High school diploma 4-6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specializing in advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical skills. Requires in-depth knowledge of advanced electrical systems and mechanical components, including pneumatics and hydraulics. Experience with injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment (thermolators, resin dryers, and hoppers, etc.), CNC mills/lathes, reverse osmosis units, Fanuc Controllers & CNC equipment preferred. PLC and Ladder Logic experience and electrical experience up to 480 VAC/320 VDC required Possess an advanced understanding of mechanical prints, manuals, drawings, and electrical troubleshooting, with the ability to implement complex repairs and installations. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Other Skills and Abilities We're Looking For: Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude to effectively diagnose and resolve maintenance issues. Ability to assist with troubleshooting and performing preventative repairs across manufacturing, packaging, distribution, and office areas. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficient in welding techniques, including stick, TIG, and MIG welding. Critical thinking skills to address complex technical problems while minimizing operational downtime. Project management skills with the ability to actively participate in plant projects and delegate responsibilities as needed. Self-starter with a high sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing effectively. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
