Roadway or Traffic Engineer - Entry Level Indianapolis, Nashville or Chicago Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT) , a planning, engineering, and consulting firm is seeking to add a talented Entry Level Roadway or Traffic Engineer to our Surface Transportation team. This role will support our Surface Transportation, municipal, and commercial clients while providing the opportunity to experience new challenges in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities and Duties: Working closely with project engineers and project managers Preparation of infrastructure design plans Capabilities in the use of design software and computer-aided drafting are essential to this position. Projects may include work tasks of design, report writing, field investigation, cost estimating, construction observation, attendance at client meetings and possibly some overnight travel to project sites. Position Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Transportation or Traffic preferred. Strong technical skills including experience with Microsoft products. Exposure to computer-aided drafting software, such as AutoCAD or Microstation. Demonstrated strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to other CMT offices. Ability to work in the field as needed Acceptable driving license. Preferred Requirements: FE certification or the ability to obtain certification in anticipation of PE certification. Previous internship or co-op experience. Strong working knowledge of computer-aided design software. Who is CMT?
