QTEC Aerospace is seeking multiple DevSecOps Engineers to join our team of professionals in Colorado Springs, CO. The qualified applicants will become part of a team of professionals representing both industry and government. The successful candidates will be detail oriented, have a proven track record and a positive work ethic. Job Summary QTEC Aerospace is looking for highly capable and motivated individuals. The successful candidates will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Missile Defense programs. The chosen candidates will support the DevSecOps team in developing and deploying infrastructure as a service and a platform as a service capability. The candidate will assist in managing multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting and automation in a DevSecOps environment for a critical customer program. Job Duties/Responsibilities Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following: Work with the leading DevOps practices and tooling (Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CO, Ansible Tower, and Nexus Pro) Work on systems administration related issues with hardware and software for different network environments Supports deployment of custom software solutions integrating COTS, GOTS, and developed software Propose system administration process improvement by working with the design team and manufacturers to reduce maintenance requirements Determines system requirements, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and system configuration maintenance Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies Develops and recommends corrective actions May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor of Science in the Computer Science field (i.e. EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT) with 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience with Linux or Windows System Administration Scripting skills in bash or PowerShell Experience with automation Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools Must be able to work independently as an SME on large projects or in a collaborative team environment with other DevSecOps engineers, other program developments, and deployment teams Self-motivated and customer-oriented Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of DevSecOps principles Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault Experience with Gitlab CI/CD Experience with Nexus Experience in virtualization technology, including, but not limited to, VMware Understanding of HP server configuration CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) DoD 8 570.01-M IAT Level II Certification Understanding of the software development life cycle and experience with Agile methodology Security Clearance Candidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance. Salary Range $82,000 - $161,000 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
