Our client, a leader in their field, is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer as Electrical and Instrumentation Project Manager for their greater Macon, Georgia location. This is 40-hourweek salaried position. The Focus of this position is Production Electrical and Controls Support, Installation of New Control Systems and Upgrades to Older Existing Controls. Duties include:Coordinating subcontractor and internal resources for the successful startup, commissioning and timely turnover to clients.Responsible for the overall financial performance of their projects including project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, AR collections and re-estimating costs of installation projects.Responsible to manage the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders for the expansion of scope.Responsible for the coordination of sub-contractors, identifying issues, and taking corrective action plans to remedy any issues.Review designbuild construction documents for constructability and cost.Plan, schedule, coordinate and execute preventive maintenance, repair and inspection activities for multiple projects located in multiple states.Hands-on maintenance, repair and project inspections required.Manage direct reports and subcontractors working on maintenance, repair and inspection activities at assigned sites.Make frequent site visits to inspect equipment and meet with direct reports, company officials and subcontractors. Assist the Engineering Manager in the development of new projects.Forecasting and tracking project budgetsPreparing subcontractor scopes for maintenance and repair bidsQualifications include:Bachelors Degree in Engineering related discipline At least 3 to 5 years experience in an industrial environmentAt least 3 to 5 years experience in process controls, instrumentation in the mining industry.
