Job Description Calculate costs by analyzing labor, materials, and time requirements. Oversee projects and subcontractors to ensure timely completion. Prepare estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing relevant data. Present estimates by compiling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. Create special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing trends and data. Develop budgets for conceptual, schematic, and design phases. Review plans for accuracy and consistency. Manage take-offs at all levels while applying unit pricing. Collaborate with the pre-construction team to ensure successful bid submissions. Evolve into a leadership role within the estimating team.
