Senior Estimator - Melville, NY

Job Description As a senior estimator, you are in charge of compiling accurate cost estimates for a construction or manufacturing project . Your main job duties involve evaluating the scope of a project and developing a financial summary that stays within the budget and scheduled time frame required. Oversees and manages the estimating team, and all its functions, and is responsible for the overall performance of the department. The estimating team focuses on environmental and fuel facility-focused projects and services. Accountable for managing, motivating, and training the estimating team and must ensure that all estimates are submitted accurately, consistently, and timely for the Construction and Service Business Units. Preparing a portion of the construction and service estimates. Qualifications Qualifications: Must HAVE estimating experience in the construction, environmental, or similar industry Must be detail-oriented while also having the ability to work quickly and efficiently. Ability to manage and generate project estimates for projects ranging from $25,000 up to $5,000,000.
