Airworthiness Analyst Work Location: Huntsville, AL Schedule: Full Time Relocation: Negotiable IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Airworthiness Analyst to provide technical support and perform system engineering duties for a Redstone Arsenal customer. The work will focus on UH-60 Black Hawk systems, components, and software. Candidates should be highly motivated, a self-starter and be able to handle multiple tasks. Education and General Experience: Bachelor's degree and 10 years of direct experience or High School and 14 years of direct experience is required. A strong work ethic, the ability to work effectively with others and a strong desire to acquire new skills are paramount in this position. Technical background / experience with UH 60A/L/M/V helicopter systems, subsystems, and mission equipment. (H-60 Black Hawk Maintenance Test Pilot experience preferred). Understanding and experience with Army Aviation airworthiness qualification process to include development of airworthiness requirements and testing to verify compliance with AR 70-62, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-882, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, and DO-178. Experience with or understanding of the Systems Engineering process (Requirements development, decomposition, and verification). Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Job Duties: Provide technical support for systems engineering processes to include requirements development, item specifications, configuration management, data management, risk management, etc. Provide support for software development, qualification and integration. Assist in the evaluation of helicopter product performance; Review verification and testing documents to assess compliance with established requirements. Duties may involve but are not limited to Engines, Cargo Hook Systems, Aircraft Weight and Balance, Aircraft Seating, Aircraft Data bus Systems, Fly-by-Wire Systems, Aircraft Drawings, and Technical Data Packages. Support major program technical reviews: Systems Requirements Reviews (SRRs), Preliminary Design Review (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), etc. Interface with government customer and other supported technical representatives; Provide verbal and written briefings on assigned qualification efforts. Track document review and progress of airworthiness qualification efforts in digital databases. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
