Overview: Responsible for acknowledging Request for Quotes (RFQs), reviewing and interpreting technical data, ex., blueprints, overhaul and repair manuals, service bulletins, etc. Creating quotes in accordance with internal procedures, coordinating sub-contract activity, identify replacement parts, material and tooling. Preparing quotes for approval to all levels of leadership, and replying to all related customer service requests in an aerospace environment. Responsibilities: Solid working knowledge of quoting policies and procedures including BOM creation and estimating Effective written & oral communication skills with established interpersonal skills Proficient experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Strong time management skills and deadline oriented Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks, changing priorities Experience in analyzing data and providing recommendations Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals, tech bulletins, etc. Build long term relationships and maintain communication within the customer community to identify business opportunities consistent with the current business model as well as develop new initiatives to assist OSS in diversifying their operations. Estimating experience in aerospace environment. Demonstrated knowledge of the Commercial, Defense and General Aviation MRO sector, as well as knowledge of MRO trends including both fixed and rotary wing Strategic, results driven collaborator with excellent communication skills and an aptitude to relate to all levels of an organization Well organized, energetic, positive, self-directed, and self-confident individual with high personal integrity and a collaborative personality Motivated and capable leader that is driven by a continuous process improvement mentality Work Environment & Physical Demands: This largely sedentary job operates in a clerical office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. Occasional requirements of lifting files, opening filing cabinets and bending/standing as required may be necessary. Must be able to sit for long periods, physical coordination to operate computer and other office equipment. Work Authorization: U.S. citizenship is a requirement for this position as TIGHITCO is subject to ITAR compliance.
