Job Title: Heavy EquipmentDiesel Engine TechnicianLocation: New EnglandSalary: $32 - $40 hourly + PTO + Comprehensive BenefitsRequirementsPosition Overview:As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various heavy equipment including diesel engines, heavy trucks, construction equipment, bulldozers etc. This position requires a strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and other mechanical systems to effectively diagnose and repair equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Cummins engines and a strong understanding of heavy equipment maintenance.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on various heavy equipment including diesel engines, heavy trucks, construction equipment, and bulldozersDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and manualsRepair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand and power toolsConduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for repairs or replacementsKeep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on equipmentCollaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of repairsQualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience servicing Heavy EquipmentTrucks or Construction EquipmentStrong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment maintenanceExperience working with Cummins engines preferredAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issuesProficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair manualsStrong understanding of hydraulics and other mechanical systemsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordBenefitsLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
