The Vomela Transportation Group has an exciting opportunity for a CI Manager - Safety & Quality to join our team.This position will be responsible for developing, leading, & managing Continuous Improvement activities in the areas of Safety, Quality, & Operations. This role will have responsibilities across multiple sites with some travel. With more than 20 locations and over 1,300 employees, Vomela utilizes the latest in technology to manage, produce, and distribute corporate marketing programs and collateral, retail in-store signage (POSPOP), store décor, tradeshow and event programs, transportation and fleet graphics.Key ResponsibilitiesPromotes a SAFE work culture in all sites.Establish emergency procedures and conduct drills to equip employees for unforeseen incidents ensuring swift and appropriate responses.Undertake regular inspections of all plant facilities and perform job hazard analysis.Develop and lead safety training sessions for all levels of employees covering a wide range of topics including correct equipment usage, chemical handling, and safe work practices.Develop, lead, and maintain HAZCOM and HAZMAT response pile and maintain all environmental health and safety documentation including OSHA Logs, training records, and incident reports.Develop roles and responsibilities for Emergency Response TeamChampion Safety Committee led by employeesUpdate Safety Manuals for Operations & Installation SitesMaintain compliance with Environmental regulationsChampions "Every Site Safe" Dashboard Metrics - Leading and LagLeads the development of Quality Standards & DocumentationChampions the development of Quality Management SystemChampions CAPAs, RCAs - RMAs, Customer Complaints, COPQDevelops, issues, & participates in internal auditMaintains Quality Dashboard Metrics - Leading and LagDemonstrated understanding of industry specifications.
