Needed immediately: A Mechanical Project Engineer in Alpharetta, GA. The Engineer will provide support and guidance on projects of high-quality industrial-based projects. Required:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred but may consider non-degreed candidates wiht ample experience5-10+ years of relevant experience, preferably from a consulting engineering background in industrial projects - such as chemical or pulp and paper (may take less)Autocad Plant 3D is preferred (will not have to design - just need to know how to navigate within the software)Pipeflow andor Autoplant is a plus Some proposal management experience would bebeneficialAbility to prepare technical memorandumsstudy reports to justify a decisionaction forwardExperience using Microsoft Project would be an assetKnowledge of and ability to use effective approaches for selecting an economic course of action or developing appropriate solutions andor reaching conclusions, based on available facts, constraints, and anticipated consequencesEIT is a must, and a PE is preferred is possible Job Details:Interfacing directly with clients, team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectationsWorking with technical teams to generate proposals and project estimatesEnsure projects maintain scope scheduleEnsure projects stay within budgetReview edquipment specificationsTracking project financials, schedules, status, and change managementEnsuring completion of work within allotted schedules and budgets to high quality standardsCreating project plans that include schedules, milestones, controls, and risk management plansSupporting safety planning for Allnorth teamsResolving performance, scope, and schedule issues as they arisebuilding business relationships with current and potential clientsSeeking continuous improvement opportunities to positively impact project and team performance#LI-CL2
