Responsible for establishing a strong customer serviceselling culture in all assigned stores. Accountable for overall operations, staffing and merchandising of retail stores. Ensure maximum profitability through execution of short and long term strategies. Responsible for providing leadership, executing corporate directives and developing strategies to maximize people development.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage all appropriate merchandising programs in an accurate and timely manner while adhering to GNC'S established standards of store presentationAnticipate, analyze and determine all sales and operational opportunities within the marketplace and contribute ideas, strategies and innovations based on knowledge of local market conditions and store environmentEnsure stores have proper inventory levels to support sales growth and to meet local market demandComplete store visit reports per an established visitation cycle ensuring time for efficient and effective store visits and follow up as neededEnsure compliance with all revised reports and effectively manage schedules for ManagersHire, train, discipline, review, and terminate employeesEnsure accurate and timely completion of all required physical inventories and related Loss Prevention assignmentsrequirements and comply with Target Store Program to manage overall shrinkageConduct real estate site evaluations and perform functions of store openings, franchise conversions and remodels by coordination of related departmentsIdentify potential new store locations for real estate committee reviewTimely communication of all mall strip issues or vacancies to the real estate departmentAdditional duties as assignedQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: ï‚·Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job requiredAdvanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred8+ years progressive retail experience required5+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect)Prior managerialsupervisory experience preferredHigh degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applicationsStrong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)Solid understanding and application of mathematical conceptsAbility to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clientsAbility to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.Ability to work with and influence peers and senior managementSelf-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reportingMust have current driver's license.GNC Holdings, LLC is an equal opportunity employerAdditional InformationBENEFITSThe Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Medical, dental, vision and insurance benefits with company contributionAccess to GNC Health Program (virtual health services)Competitive rate of payPaid Time Off- 40 hours of sick time and accrued vacation days401(k) Plan8 Paid HolidaysCompany provided life insuranceShort-term disability benefitsLong-term disability benefitsMaternity LeavePaid parental leaveEmployee assistance programEmployee discountThis position is eligible to participate in the short term Incentive Plan
