Please check the description below and reach out to us for more details if you are interested.Pay Rate: $58.37hour. on W2Work Type: Hybrid - Houston, TXDuration: 10-month contract (with possible extension)Job Overview:Project Controls - Provides project management support services in the areas of project initiation, cost management, change management, progress measurement, reporting and project close out. Project Controls collaborates with project managers on the development and review of project plan, estimate, schedule, risk and contractual requirements. Develops and implements project controls and monitoring procedures to ensure the achievement of project schedule and cost objectives. Collects, analyzes and reports on project data and costs from various stakeholders (e.g., engineering, procurement, construction and accounting).Key Responsibilities:Develops PC Organizational structure and staffing worksheetFull understanding of overall project scopeReviews and provides input into Estimate and maps to the control WBSSets up control WBS and budgets in SAPCommunicates control WBS to scheduling and contractor for reporting requirementsDevelops and maintains project controls plan for all key areas of project controlsReviews required project documentation during project assurance reviews and provides feedback to project teamsReviews schedule, provides input, and maintains list of project key milestonesWorks closely with project estimator and scheduler and provides input into baselinesEnsures project has appropriate AFE fundingReviews schedule and other forecast drivers to update project time phasing for control budget and estimate to completeCompletes requisitions for commitment of project materials and servicesCompletes incurred costs reporting and variance explanationsMonitors cost and committed to budget and forecast.Updates cost management system with time phased data, contractor progress and project trendsReview project invoices to ensure that costs align with incurred costsAnalyzes data to establish the differences in initial estimates during RFP and contract awardReview contractor cost and progress and provide input to estimate at completionFull understanding of Earned Value Management, rules of credit, and progress measurementWorks closely with material and service providers to define rules of credit for earned value managementMonitors cost progress and performance metrics to establish potential and pending trendsEvaluates and recommends allowances for design unknowns, escalation, and contingencyResponsible for maintaining project trend log and reviewing contract change orders.Participates in HRIM and QRA meetings and updates budgets and forecasts accordinglyInterfaces with project management, engineering, construction and procurement departments for project forecasting and trendsReviews monthly reporting packages and provides recommendations for improvement and projections based off performanceProvides overall support to Intermediate and Junior Project ControlsMakes projects presentations to senior management as requiredEnsures all Administrative, Financial, and System close-out activities are completedSupervision, Performance and ExperienceTypically reports to Project Controls Manager or Scheduling LeadSupervisorWould be part of a project controls team on large scale projects and junior and intermediate pc will report to senior pcField experience considered as assetExperience with executing moderate- to high-risk capital projects of different asset types.Minimum Qualifications:Must have a 4 year undergraduate degree in Finance or Construction Management or equivalentMust have experience SAP experience Must have at least 7-10 years experience as a Project Controller Raise PBC is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination and equal opportunity for all employees and qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religious creed, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, genetics, gender identity, veterans' status, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
