Job Title: Air and Ocean Export CoordinatorLocation: Atlanta, GAExperience: CargoWise Experience RequiredJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Air and Ocean Export Coordinator to join our logistics team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international shipping, with a particular focus on air and ocean export processes. Proficiency in CargoWise is essential for this role, as the candidate will be responsible for managing shipments, ensuring compliance, and delivering top-notch customer service to our clients.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate air and ocean export shipments from initial booking through final delivery, ensuring timely and efficient processing.Utilize CargoWise to manage shipments, create bookings, and ensure accurate data entry across all documentation.Prepare, review, and process shipping documentation such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, including customs and export control requirements.Work closely with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to ensure proper routing and timely delivery.Monitor shipment status and proactively address delays or issues, keeping clients informed throughout the process.Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, customer service, and operations to provide seamless service.Handle customer inquiries and provide status updates, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.Maintain and update shipment tracking in CargoWise and other systems as needed.Ensure accuracy in billing and invoicing for all shipments.Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in export logistics.Qualifications:2+ years of experience in air and ocean export logistics or freight forwarding.Proficiency in CargoWise software is required.Strong knowledge of export documentation and international shipping regulations.Familiarity with U.S. Customs regulations and international trade compliance.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
