Heavy Equipment OperatorA Pensacola based company is looking for full time heavy equipment operators! This Direct Hire position will be responsible for safely operating excavators, bulldozers, motor graders, front-end loaders, and off-road trucks for underground pipe and dirt site crew. We are looking for team players interested in a long-term position and who want an opportunity to grow with the company.What you'll be doing to make an impact:Operate earthworkheavy equipment in a safe manner.Follow all OSHA and company safety spect and maintain all equipment daily, document inspections.Perform excavationtrenching, backfill, compaction, sloping using various types of equipment.Loading and offloading rocks, debris, and other materials.Perform land clearinggrubbinggrading.Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized each day.Providing suggestions to refine workflow and boost municate with foreman, and superintendent on any equipment repairs needed.Asphalt andor pipe (water, storm, etc.) experience a PLUS.Finish dozer skills a PLUS.GPS dozer skills a PLUSMay be required to perform manual labor in addition to job duties What you'll bring to the job:Heavy equipment operation: 2 years (Required)CDL B (Preferred)High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Excellent vision or the use of prescribed lenses.Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines.Capacity to provide and follow direction.Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure.Ability to work extended hours, as required.What's in it for you:Salary: Starting at $21hourBenefits include 401 (k), 401 (k) matching, Dental insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid time off and Vision insuranceSchedule: 8-10 hour day shifts working onsite, Monday through Friday, Overtime possible, Weekend availabilityLandrum Workforce Solutions does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law.
