Sr SDET - Cypress SME (W2 Only)

HM is targeting 5-7 years of experience. Candidates can be fully remote but if they're in the Charlotte area they can come into the office as they please. Potential to convert exists so those in Charlotte already are preferred. Exp with Cypress using either typescript or javascript, JIRA, Postman, SQL, and any Database experience is highly desired. Hiring Manager prefers candidates coming from financial services backgrounds and well know institutions. Interview will be one 30 min panel interview and then a potential offer.ResponsibilitiesWork within an agile team environment to perform software verification activities. Design, develop, drive, and deliver high-level test strategies, methodologies and take a hands-on approach to see that they are implemented timely and efficiently.Establish quality assurance best practices and benchmarks and drive adoption across the QA team.Implement metrics, analyze test data and results to identify patterns, report on risk status to development partners and influence software qualityWork closely with and mentor more junior Quality Assurance engineers, help stablish the organization's QA roadmap, and build a world-class QA engineering team.Drive continuous improvements in product testing processes (test plans, automation, testing resources, etc.).Document andor review testing results working closely with developers and product owners to resolve reported issues.Execute and maintain the automated test scripts, assuring continuous testing process.Show strong expertise in reproducing, analyzing, and finding the root cause for clients' issues.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience5-7 years of QA experienceMust have 2+ years of Cypress (Typescript Javascript)3+ years of experience with any other automation tools experience for the remaining 3 years (i.e. selenium, cucumber, or Playwright).Experience with SQL Experience with API testing using PostmanExperience with JIRAExperience with Protractor is a plus
